About Babyliss

In the 1960s, Mr. LeliFvre, a much-appreciated Parisian hair-dresser on avenue Emile Zola, invented the very first curling tongs. Mr. Felblum, his associate, had the excellent idea of marketing and distributing this novelty product through a professional and general public network. The impulse he gave BaByliss propulsed the company forward in the hair care and beauty fields, thereby acquiring an unrivalled brand image. The BaByliss brand was born! From its fief in Paris' XVth arrondissement, BaByliss curled and recurled the whole of France for ten years, so becoming the reference in hair-dressing. In 2000, BaByliss celebrated its 40th birthday and continues its policy of innovation with ongoing improvement to existing products but also by developing new body-care ranges better adapted to life in the 21st century.
