I used to have a set of Clairol hot rollers (had them for over 20 years) that were excellent. They heated up quickly, stayed in place, there were three distinct sizes (not two similar sizes), and they lasted through decades of use. I have long thin hair, so using curlers to give it some body is essential. When my Clairol rollers finally gave up, I bought this Babyliss set as a replacement. They are terrible. They do not get hot (or at least not quickly enough for a busy person), they have only two similar sizes--both of which are quick large (and therefore the curl fall out easily), and they do not stay snug on your head while they are in place. Unlike my old Clairol rollers, the whole contraption seems rickety (made out of thin plastic), and it is much large (more difficult to store) than my old rollers, which had many more rollers in the set! Do not buy these. It is a waste of money. (And notice that there is no corporate address or customer service phone number on this website. It does tell consumers that Babyliss does not really stand behind its products.)
